Yard Operative - Ohio

A division of the Euro Auctions Group, Yoder and Frey have been conducting auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery since 1964 with sites based in Florida, Ohio, and Texas.

Key Activities: 

• Precise loading and unloading of machines.
• Photos and videos of auction stock.
• Stock control.
• Assist other staff organizing and preparing the yard for each sale.
• General yard duties.

The Person:

This role is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery. If you have a knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Can operate construction and or agricultural equipment.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Experience with stock control.
• Strong English skills. 

Desirable Criteria: 

• Mechanical experience.
