Absentee Bid Instructions

In the event that you are unable to attend the auction, you may place an absentee bid for the items you wish to purchase. All absentee bidders are required to place a 50% deposit to bid and all bids must be submitted at least one day prior to the day the item will sell. When placing your absentee bid, the dollar amount you list is the most you will spend on that item. We do not start the bidding at that price. Your bid will be considered like any other bidder who is on site.
In order to submit your bid, please complete the following steps:- Carefully read the Terms of Sale. Click here to review the terms of sale.
- Read, complete and sign the "Absentee Bid" form. Click here to view the Absentee Bid form.
- Complete all information on the "Buyer's Registration" form. Click here to view the Buyer's Registration form.
- After the Absentee Bid form and the Buyer Registration forms are filled out and signed, fax them to the number listed on the top of the Absentee Bid form.
- Send in your Deposit
- If you are making a deposit via bank wire, check with your bank regarding cutoff times to ensure that we receive the funds one day before the item sells.

- If your deposit is being made by a company check or personal check, you must have a bank letter of guarantee prepared by your bank. This bank letter should be sent with your check to the address listed on the Absentee Bid Form. To view a sample bank letter, click here.
- Deposits may be made by credit card via our online payment system. A 3% fee will apply to all payments made using the online payment system.
- If you are making a deposit via bank wire, check with your bank regarding cutoff times to ensure that we receive the funds one day before the item sells.
- Was your bid successful?
- If your bid was successful, a representative of Yoder & Frey Auctioneers, Inc. will notify you within 24 hours. The remaining balance on your account must be remitted immediately to Yoder & Frey Auctioneers, Inc. Go to Payment Options for a detailed list of our acceptable methods of payment.
- If your bid was unsuccessful, a representative of Yoder & Frey Auctioneers, Inc. will contact you within 24 hours and your deposit will be returned.
